A man struggling to find himself while maintaining his small vineyard after the recent death of this wife meets a young, gay Dreamer who will sacrifice nearly everything trying to bring his deported mother back from Mexico. As they work the magical little vineyard together, they form an unlikely friendship that challenges each others’ beliefs and leads each to learn that the choices we make profound affect not just our own lives but the world around us.
In a small California vineyard, in predawn February moonlight, George Connor, 55, prunes dormant vines. Three months since the death of his wife, Clair, doubtful of the magic she believed they possessed, faithless he will feel the renewal they soon will, he’s certain only that pushing on is necessary.

The Vineyard is the story of the great power of nature to not only connect us to our world and each other but to what lies beyond this world and our participation in it.
